The Holy Emperor and President of Roma Hawaiiana arrived secretly in Alexandria today aboard the nuclear submarine Tartarus and the destroyer Remembrance. While the intelligence of having both leaders outside of Malta at this critical time is questionable, their appearance no doubt encourages the people of Egypt as they prepare for the transition of power. President Starkey said, "We look forward to joining with Eygpt, and know that all true Eygptians want unification. The terrorist sects currently hiding in the desert do not represent these brave and courageous people." While numbers are hard to come by, some estimate that the terrorists may number as high as 12,000. With little water and supplies though, it is unlikely that they will be able to hold out long against the might of our great nation and our new Eyptian brethern.

Don: Look, if you continue to insult me, we're gonna have problems. I offer to air drop canoli as an apology to our abrupt departure (which anyone can see was absolutely justified given the circumstances) If you are unwilling to accept our gift, maybe you'd prefer we drop them on the terrorists in the desert? I'm not so sure we really want to get involved with those mooks.

We have a very good reason for not accepting the canolis. Right now a deadly pathogen is ravaging the urban populations of Egypt. If food was to be dropped from the sky, fell on the ground, and then passed thru numerous hands, disease would spread even more rapidly. Please hold off on the desert until we get the virus under control.

Consigliere: The Don has requested that informal communications between our countries will cease immediately, in the interim, I will receive and send all communications between Romahawaiiana and Vitosoprano. The Don explains this action as a response to the repeated refusals of aid to the Sinai during this disaster, that coincidentally occurred just as we left.

Roma Hawaiiana is greatly troubled that the Don feels this way. We are acting in the best interests of the people of Egypt. Airlifted canolis would only worsen the situation.

Consigliere: It's a freakin metaphor!!!! we were offering assistance to the citizens and your troops, and we get mocked, the Don is extremely insulted. It may take an act of contrition to make him soften his stance at this point.

Would could we (such a humble country) possibly give the great Don that would please him?

And to think, I was going to put "(other than Malta)" after the post but deleted it. I thought it would be unecessary.

Consigliere: The Don feels deeply insulted, and quite frankly, he can hold a grudge. I don't hink anything less than this grand gesture will restore his faith and confidence in Romahawaiiana.

Then so be it. We are too busy trying to heal Eygpt to pay fealty to the Don.

DON: yeah keep disrespecting me and you'll be the one in cast. I GAVE you Malta when you had NOTHING, out of the kindness of my heart. I kept my mouth shut when you greedily annexed 80% of North Africa; and subsequently, when my logistical problems were finally hammered out, I left the Sinai to you. Is it asking too much to have what was once, and is rightfully mine to be returned, after you've taken such good care of it? I put my hand out to you, much the same way I did for Gotti after Castellano's unfortunate demise, and you have spit on it. I only hope that this can be worked out peacefully.
