you got me. All the people around here are either morbidly obese or missing half their teeth and married to their cousins. Chicken fried chicken sounds like their type of food.

I'd like to try some real "Southern Fried Chicken", I hear it's the best.

For anyone who would be interested, I created another region called The Mediterranean with a new Invisionfree forum. You are all invited to either move to this region and join the forum with your main nation, or create a new puppet nation for use in the region.
I'll be out of town for a long weekend this weekend, but after that should be able to get back into making sure that new land claims are granted in a speedy fashion and that we could all get into role played events.
Stay active, join the "new" Med!
Your friend, Rochsland

First of all, Rochsland, I take this as a personal offense that you're recruiting for a new region on a message board I created. That being said, I do understand your motives; the region has rapidly slipped into a state of apathy and stagnation. Unfortunately I cannot be counted in the effort to reverse this downward spiral. Added responsibilities in my professional life have commanded much more of my time. I will poke my head in here occasionally, but will most likely be unable to involve myself too deeply or frequently with any role playing that may (but probably not) occur. My long time antagonist Roma as well as my freind Pons Aelius both have the wherewithal and determination to revive roleplay in this region and I challenge them both to do so. I've also seen plenty of new additions that seem eager to get involved. Someone needs to step up and become cartographer for the region, and will probably have to come up with their own map, and i will empower them with admin authority on the site. By the way, I haven't forgotten Limington, unless he bailed out, he's probably the strongest role player in the house and has quite a history. at any rate' as the Don's health wanes and the outside pressures on the Family increase, he will be spending increasing time inside the heavily secured villa in Palermo. Grazia and salud to all!!

Yes I would agree, I think Limington would be great creating more role play, I remember he was good in the old forum, I used to have a good laugh, he was good! Vito, I appreciate that you may have a lot of responsibilities in your professional life, leaving little time for our forum, but it would be great if you could join in just The Games now and again when you don't have much time. I know it isn't role play but at least it is joining in the forum even if in a small way. It seems only myself and our "stalwart" Roma Hawaiiana contribute to our forum. Vito, may I suggest you leave the Family to get on with their affairs, kill themselves off if that's what they want, and leave Palermo for a while and give yourself a break and enjoy life, enjoy a breath of good clean fresh air, and enjoy our Forum! I'd very much like to think you could extend your life and enjoy it for a long time!

you cannot suggest that i leave the Family!?!? There are 2 ways to leave the Family, neither very inviting. The first is in a body bag, of course if you reach your end in battle, you are a hero and a legend forever more; the second is to become a low life rat, a bukala, DISONORE, which may eventually lead to your inglorious death anyway.

I'm sorry Vito. No, I didn't really mean you to leave the Family if either of those two dreadful ways to leave meant how you described. That is just too shocking. I was only thinking of your health and well-being. Just stay in the Family, and so stay safe.
