Isaac Newton invented a reflecting telescope (today known as a Newtonian telescope), and without his invention we may not have had the Hubble telescope of today. Have a look at Hubble's interesting website: hubblesite.org/

Ah thank you. I was confused by the Hubble bit (As Mr. Hubble came much later) but I appreciate your adding to my knowledge of Isaac Newton.
